I am still using the leashes that wrap around he leg (standard line stuff) and I was thinking of going for the low profile look with the new clip on leashes, but where you do you cats connect your leashes on your boots? If anyone has any pictures that would be great, and sorry if this topic has already been covered.
The only thing I could think of was using a key ring on the boot fastenrs, but in a crash could that possibly wreck the boot latch?

I clip to my pant liner around the cuff where it is thicker... I'm not doing any intense carving or jumps so I'm not worried about them pulling out, I'm sure others have better ways though.
I have used the clip on type but finding a place to put the ring is always a problem , I am now using this type of coiled leash it just goes around the leg clips to itself and coils up right out of the way when you unclip it , clever and simple , there is tension on it so it does not flop around

if you want to clip directly to your buckle or something on your boot .. you could use one of these carbiner type key rings at rei

Yea I was more interested in the coiled leashes that clip to the boot, as opposed to around the boot. But, does this pose any danger to the boot or the buckle that it is attached too?

If you're using a clip-on leash that is coiled than I think you should be ok. The unwinding of the coiled portion of the leash should absorb a good amount of energy and keep you're buckles from getting tugged on too hard.
yes , i agree with what crazy boy says , i used a minicarabiner type key ring on a ski boot buckle strap for a number of seasons with a coiled type snowboard type leash , there is no damage to the buckle strap because the coiled leash , I think , disperses the energy when i release

here's a way to do it. loose end clamps to front binding bail.

Thanks for the picture and the input guys. I think I might just have to make an order for a couple of those coiled snowjam leashes then.

Yeah, I'm most likely going to go that route myself. I get tired of messing with the wrap-around kind too.
Are those your boots, Greco? If so, how do you like the BTS system?

Sweet, I've been thinking about getting that for my Track's, but I wasn't sure how well the idea transfered to a skiboarding application. I think I'll probably go for it now, thanks.
Another quick question; is there much of a difference between the SJ coil leash and the leash/lock combo? It looks like the leash part is pretty much the same.

I actually got new burton leashes for this year. They are the standard metal clip loop rope thing. I got em hooked onto the boot clip. Im going to change that because at the park i took a spill off a box and one leash totally broke in 2. I mean the METAL part broke in 2 LOL. I just used my bros leash from his snowboard.

The pro leash coil is thicker and stronger.
i have an extra bts kit (http://www.bomberonline.com/store/boots/BTS_kit.cfm) if you're interested. i think it has a red long spring and yellow short but i would need to confirm. it retails for $99 but doesn't look like it's available from bomber yet. you can have it for $75.00. let me know if you're interested.
