No income tax
Cheap land
Least population dense state
Cheap, good colleges
AWESOME skiing (Jackson Hole)

So tell me, why shouldnt I go?

Oh, and btw, whos been to Jackson Hole, and whats the party/girls/ski town factor in Jackson? I mean, youve got JHAF, and they party HARRD... And ski harder.

Wait ty, youd be able to interpret this. What does $341 per credit hour mean? Wall street journal said that University of Wyoming is the 'best value' in the US, but $341 sounds expensive to me... (But I dont quite know what it means)

Most lecture classes are 3 credit hours, most labs are 1, and the normal load is somewhere between 12-18 credits.

that seems kinda dumb to me....to graduate you need around 4 years of 30 credits and the minimum for full time is 12

I am at a 2 year institution. I will be transfering to a 4 year after next year to continue my degree but I will actually finish my associates degree a semester early.

16.5 - 17 credits every sememster all 8 semesters

Jackson hole is amazing, I would live there in a heart beat, but I'm from PA and have no problem with staying in a tent for months, cooking on a fire, and enjoying the outdoors.

Didn't do any partying but loved the scenerey

Hehe, right now I'm taking 18, next will be my 2nd semester of taking 19...and then I had a couple of light semesters at 16 and 17.

took 15 this semester dropped one class so finishing this semester with 12 and next semester I have signed up for 13 and will be taking one more arts class for 3 more credits so I guess that brings the total to 16 creds.

do you have a dual major, I am only allowed to take 18 a semester max and i've been hovering around 16-17 this year. I am taking an intro class to ski resort managment, which im pretty stoked about....and if i like it im thinking about declaring a dual major in Environmental Science/Ski Resort Managment(Recreation Managment)

Nope, not a double major. Our mechanical engineering program is just really brutal and any deviation from the reccommended cirriculum ends up with you taking 19 credit hours at some point. The first time I took 19 I had to get signatures from a few people for them to let me do it. We also have this random title that nobody is quite sure how you get that allows you to take over 18 credit hours without approval and allows you to register for classes at the same time as grad students, which is how I am doing it this year.
