06 Loken Apetorch
01 Line Mike Nick Pro
02 Line Weapon
02 Line Flys (x2)

Well, so far Dcox20 you are in the lead! Not that this is a contest, but we wanna know how many people have, it's cool to actually see(read) what people have. Many signatures do have their quiver.... wait Dave.. we have yet to hear from Brklncarver or jjue and of course Greco!

Not sure of the years of some of these.
Sixteen pairs:
09 Condors (on order)
08 KTP's
R8 EMP's
Loken CT8's
Line 98 Pro - Red with the horsemen
Line 5-O's - 3 pairs of them
Line Weapons
Line Bullet 95's
96 Line 87's
Groove Invertigo's
Journey 87 "Twins"
SnowJam 90TT's - 06's I think
SnowJam 75's - Green fade graphics
Canon Easy Rider 75's
I've gotten harrassed for having so many pairs, but I like having a variety for people to try out. And after seeing how many Dave has, I don't feel so guilty.

Haha wow... people always inquire why I have three pairs.... but 17... I wouldn't know how to defend that :D
I am constantly having to defend my quiver ........
............ from my WIFE ..
She says I have way too much stuff in the garage and I am very worried when she has a garage sale ... I have to hide all my stuff or it will be out on the street....
ps this count does not include all the long skis which I have accumulated over the years and seriously clutter my attic , at least skiboards are small and relatively easy to hide ... .I also wanted to hang mine on the wall like Dcox or Brklyncarver somewhere in the house or even in the garage wall but that idea was unfortunately vetoed . big time ..

well, I have one pair. I would love a couple more...
one question for some of you, though. why do you have a couple pairs of the exact same skiboard? I would love another pair of 105's, because the new ones are different than my emp's....or a pair of shorter and a pair of longer ones, but why more than one of the same except for others to use them? I wish I had enough money to outfit my friends, too. hehe
nice collections!

nice collections!
mY WIFE asks me that all the time, she thinks I am seriously insane ... first when I find a model I really like ,I worry that the skiboard company will go belly up and they will no longer be any made ( this actually has happended a number of times in the past , so I want to stockpile some in case I break one ) , then a new graphic comes out which I like and I have to get it .. then sometimes somebody says a new version has a different flex pattern and I have to get it .. and then I have all kinds of weird ideas of different kinds of bindings I want to try on them .. like telemark bindings, backcountry bindings etc . etc .. , maybe I am insane :)!

haha i hear that, though. my wife actaully encourages me to get mulitples of something i like, but we're not there with skiboards yet. but i totally can see buying another pair of the same size in a different material/flex/width. someday i'll be able to. it's cheap as long as you don't mind switching out your bindings..but i'd love to have a set of bindings for each pair, too. :)

I originally started with my SnowJam 90's as my first boards. I got my EMP's as an up upgrade shortly thereafter. The CT8's were purchased as beater boards for practicing in the park (they were already very beat up when I got them). I started collecting the others just to have extra pairs for others to try out the sport and also for historical purposes. The 1996 Lines are supposed to be the first boards they ever produced, and while I will ride them a few times, they are mostly a piece of skiboarding history for me.

so far 17 is the top number, but tied with jjue & dcox!
Only 5 in our possession. 7 pair with loaners that never seem to be returned. :D
I see you prefeer release bindings. Care to share why? Just curiouse as I got the non release, more on the cost side, but also for lighter, and no worries of having to find one if it gets lost in deep pow.
I see you prefeer release bindings. Care to share why? Just curiouse as I got the non release, more on the cost side, but also for lighter, and no worries of having to find one if it gets lost in deep pow.
Reasons:
* age of my body (soon to be 50)
* started snow sliding late in life, 5 seasons ago so I was not confident with non-release
* wanted sense of safety (ironically, I have very few releases since I set my DIN to 6.5)
* my upgraded bindings are a rock solid interface between boot and skiboard (Most riders should NOT try the mods I have made to the older versions of risers/binders, they are a result of another element of my skiboarding hobby. The mods are not required given the latest Spruce releasable binding offerings.)
* I do not jump or do terrain park so weight is NOT an issue since I prefer to keep my skiboards in contact with the snow.
* relatively speaking, my boots are probably the single heaviest item in my setup, not the bindings
* my wife likes the ease of steping in (so do I, but I like a leash, not brakes)

Over the past ten or so years of skiboarding I've had 14 pairs of boards, but now I'm down to only owning 3 pairs. With all the cool boards this season my collection will be at least doubling.

I've got one!! Line 98 Pro's, the red ones with the horseriders! I really want to pick up some more before this winter is over though, the Rumspringas or maybe even a pair of Sherpas. Or both, depending on the financial situation!

i had a pair, but i gave them to joey so he had boards to give out to his friends up at college. Getting some more people on skiboards = worth giving up some of my babies!
