I know some one posted something about these. They were like razor scooters with blades. Anyone got the link from it?

OR THIS? (http://www.trikkeskki.com/)

Shame they're banned in about 90% of ski resorts, for reasons I've not quite worked out.

Look good fun, though.

The one slow posted seems kinda pointless, if you're going to be strapping some skiboards onto your feet to be able to ride it, why not just skiboard?

Nah , the true heros are the snow skaters, talk about poor binding interface , how about no binding ... and one skiboard with a skateboard deck on top ?.. I saw two of these guys at Heavenly last weekend and they were ripping and genuinely interested in my skiboards but only to bolt one of them to their skateboard decks
:)!

I really like the idea of those snowskates. My friend has a cheapo "snowskate" that's really just an extra thick deck with ridges on the bottom, no carving or anything there, just a way to push around.
Anyways, always impressed with how they can still have control on those. What kind of shoes do you think? Skate shoes would get pretty chilly and wet.

The guys I saw were just wearing floppy snow boots , you know , the kind people walk around in the snow with ...

Hmm, hard to imagine having enough dexterity in those for the tricks in this video. Also seems having enough traction might be an issue. Interesting stuff

I think you could spend a lota time chasing after those snowskates down the hill. I notice no leash.
