Well I was going to cancel my order for the Rossi soft light 3 boots from sportsliquidator.com after I tried on a pair at another store and they didn't fit, but they shipped them out to me before I had the chance to. Since they were sitting in my living room I figured that I had to give them another shot after the rave reviews they got from other skiboarders.
They are a mofo'r to put on but I guess all new boots are. (It's been a while since I bought mine and you tend to forget things like that) They are tight around the heel cup which I'm assuming will loosen up a little over time. (my current boots are so loose in the heel cup that I tend to move up and down in them...aka worn out....lol) I wore them for an hour or so on the carpet and didn't get any cramping in my calves which is a great start. The micro adjustments rock.... while I would have liked another cm of space it's just damn near impossible to find a proven soft boot with an upright stance under $200 in my size. So I'm keeping them!!
Hopefully I'll be able to get back out to the mountain soon to try them out. I'm pretty much on lock-down until we have our 3rd son (due January 6th!!! and already 8.5lbs) so until then I'll just have to break them in on the old oriental rug in the living room...
