I'm thinking of getting a pair of the new KTPs. I was just wondering if anyone owns a pair of the revolts and ktps and can take a few side by side pictures of them together so I can compare and see the difference in length, width, and turn radius.
Thanks!
pinkkid posted a picture of her quiver a while back with the ktp next to the revolt

Thanks guys. Any differences on the 09 model compared to the 08? I think I remember reading that someone said one may have more flex or something. Also, I know that the 09 model has 6 inserts, which is very cool.
Coming from riding revolts, am I going to notice anything different about the KTPs? I'm starting to get more into park and terrain, but still enjoy getting in a tuck and bombing straight down a run laying down some huge carves.

I heard too about the flex... I think I would prefer the more flexier '09 model of my '08, but noe big deal really, it wasn't bad at all, very solid and fun!
I should have rode the Revolt after, or before, riding the KTP to give myself a better feel for the difference, someone else might have them fresh in their head about the difference...
but the Revolt vs the KTP:
KTP feels more like a sub 100cm skiboard despite it's width, yes you know that it is wider but it is not an issue. The Revolt seemed to really wanna bomb down those runs, very stable ride (as well as for the KTP when bombing straight) and also laying the carves. I notice the length difference the most rather than the width, go figure.
I think you will not notice much difference really; the picture sure oes make then seem huge, but they are about the same, in heaviness too. The KTP tips are not as high as the Revolts. I could spin easier on the KTP over the Revolts. As for parks, dunno except that both were nice for fun jumps.
I think if you search around on the forum and skiboardreviews.com you will find some better takes on their differences.
