UPS gripes

Seriously. The driver in my area is some piece of work. When I ordered my Revolts, I paid the outrageous $70 for Priority overnight, and didn't receive them until 3 days later than I was suppose to. No fault of G's mind you, he got it out the next day. The UPS guy didn't knock on my door or leave a note, and it was marked as I wasn't home to sign, and that he left a note. So I called UPS and told them to hold it at the center for me, cause I was going to go up for some riding that day. And they were like, oh yeah, sure, we can do that! I get to the center the next morning, and after waiting for 45 minutes in line, they apparently sent the damn package out again! Well, I was going out to ride, so I had one of my neighbors try to intercept my package for me, but the driver NEVER CAME! It just went back to the center at 8:30 at night, with no explanation. I was finally able to pick it up the next morning, after waiting in line for another 30 minutes.

AHHHH!!!!

So recently I ordered more stuff from SBOL. G did his part and got it out immediately. This time I wasn't foolish enough for overnight. Got 3 day. So today was the third day. It went out for delivery at 4AM, and not a single knock on my door. I give a call to the guys at UPS, and was like, Hey, how late can this thing arrive? And I get, oh it seems to have gone back to the center. There's no explanation why. Told them to HOLD it there for me! And they said, oh we'll give you a call. WTF!?!?!

Man, I am so pissed at UPS. And it's ONLY UPS! The FedEx guy usually gets here at 10AM, knocks on my door, and gives me my stuff! I've had 6 packages come in UPS since I've lived in these apartments, I've had to pick up 4 of them from the center, which is 11 miles away. One of them my roommate received. And one my apartment manager got, WHILE I WAS HOME! I've never even seen the driver out here. I think he's a myth!

Ugh, I just had to vent. Tomorrow is my only day off, and it seems like the first half of it will be waiting for my shit so I can get up on the mountain. I HATE UPS!

As a shipper//recieiver for work right now, you make me glad that we don't deal at all with UPS.

I do know the feeling though, I had a similar experience of following my aggressive skates around when I ordered them.

Lets hope that the USPS and Canada Post don't screw with my snowblade order.

USPS has been nothing but good to me. Sometimes when I'm expecting a package, I'll just leave a note in my mailbox for my postal guy, let him know my doors unlocked, and he'll just drop it off inside. It's freaking great. If he needs a signature, he'll leave one of his notice things along with the package, I just leave it in my mailbox for him.

Love USPS, probably just my mail guy though.

out here in hawaii UPS AND USPS are the greatest. If you want something from fedex.. haha good luck. They are really horrible. I got married out here in Hawaii, and almost didn't have a wedding ring because some dude /or chick decided they wanted my wife's wedding ring. The only reason I found out about this was because I had to call them and ask why my package was still sitting at the warehouse (it said on the internet for 3days it was there). Then they were like. OH IT WAS OPENED AND WHAT EVER WAS INSIDE WAS STOLEN... WE WERE GOING TO CALL YOU. Then after I had to file a claim with the company I ordered it through, and with fedex I got it shipped out here again. Oh and by the way I shipped to my boss' house since I lived in military barracks.( It would get to him faster than me). So once I new it was en route to hawaii. I called fedex and told them to hold it. Once They told me it was there (they called me by charles this whole time and it was filed under my name the whole time... so they knew charles was picking it up...) I drove to the other side of the island to get it, and they said I couldn't pick up my wifes wedding ring because it was shipped to my friends house he had to come and get it not me. I was pissed because I was getting married in two days, and I was playing stupid games. So my friend went with me the next day to get it, and right in front of the fedex dude he signed the paper and gave it to me while the fedex guy (same person from the day earlyer) looked confused like why was he giving it to me.... and I finally got the $10,000 ring! so I hate fedex.. also when ever I get stuff from fedex to my house it usually shows up a few days late.

I've experienced nothing but the same from UPS normally. For some reason they just don't like to deliver packages. FedEx and USPS nothing but awesome. I think only once I had to go to the center to pick up my package from FedEx and it was like 5 min in and out. UPS on the other hand, wait in line for 20 min, then wait another 20 min while they cruise around the gigantic warehouse looking for my damn package. Normally my neighbor signs for my stuff but for some reason UPS won't let them sign even though we're in the same building I have to leave the damn slip and hope it doesn't fall off the door during the day before they get there. I feel for you man

I believe they purposekly wait in the bush until nobody is home.....then they give you a notice. Or they mail you a notice that they were there...
