Whats up everyone? i've had the b-dubz pros for a week and a bit now, and i've just been riding handrails on em, so i didnt think that it warrented a full review

BUT i just got back from a local mountain on them.... so here she goes

Carving? any of you guys enjoy it? we'll your gonna like it alot more on these things.... the radius on these boards is so tight, and the side cut reminds me of the scratch skis..... its very tight and snowboard-esque so weather i was carving regular or switch, i felt like my first time driving a car with power steering.... these boards WORK for you..... i really liked the extra height on the tip and tail as well... you can plow through so much more crud..... you can lay nice micha-rhoese-esque hand down carves, or quick mogully bump turns on these things and it feels great! i was pleasently suprised at how well they responded... not one washout the entire day as well

THEN i took em into the park..... 40 foot jumps were no big deal, taking off and landing switch.... and for nose grabs and tail grabs the extra height on the tips is REALLY fun to grab! hahaha, it sounds funny but once you get em you'll see.... when you just do a 360 nose or tail, it feels so great to grab! the shape is so nice! there nice and stable on rails, spinning on, switching up and spinning off is great!

anyway, i have so much more stuff in my to talk about with these things, so if you have any questions, just post!!!

hope you guys enjoy the boards, i sure did

Cool, thanks for the impressions. I have a question though. Are these more of a park model or all-mountain? I hear that the Fusions are more for the mountain and the BWPs are more for tricks and the park. You said they carve nicely so are they basically good for anything you want to do?

fun to grab?

I'd actually be interested to know that myself. I'm currently saving up for a pair of Fusions, and I want something that's all mountain, but will work just as well in the park too, since I really want to start trying to fly.

I too would like to know whats best for mountain riding, Fusions or BWPs. I have ordered a pair of BWP's, but I figure it should be possible to change the order to Fusions if they are actually better with powder and carving, which Is what I do pretty much all the time.

The only difference I could find in their description is that the BWP is stiffer than the Fusion. What difference does that make?

What's up guys? thanks for the interest! And like i said, i was pleasently suprised at how well they work the entire mountain.... like i said, it felt like i was in the seat of a sports car, when before i was just riding a pickup truck, something that would just get me around... (excuse the analogy) but i felt like i had alot more control, power, and drive through the trees, bumps and fresh.....

and yea flyhigh, like i said, even though everything is fun to grab on, the extra tip and tail height gives some grabs a different feel that i really liked! not a selling point, just something i really liked about them! I hope you do to!

But like i said in the original post, they definatly suprised me for being so 'out of there element' on the entire mountain... in fact i felt like i had more control then any other board i've rode.... so if you guys do check em out, post a review! let me know what you think!

and like i said before, in the park there are no boards that are comparable... there epic

holla!

Seems like the BWP is great at everything, but where does that leave the Fusion model?

maybe its like in Canon case - M7 and NL Pro models, design is other but specifications allmost the same! - so maybe same thing here with BWP and Fusions?!?!? ;) i dunno just thinking...

its basically the same idea...the fusion was built under the BWP's specifications, just less flex.... same dimensions though!

any other questions, let me know!

So what's the extra flex do?

i think a softer flex actually will make it easier to carve for lighter riders, or less aggresive riders, but if you are bigger you will notice the stabilty will be sacraficed at higher speeds and more aggresive turns. that is just my estamite with my knowledge of skis and snowboards
