Too much snow in Tahoe!

Man, I am all pumped because our first big trip of the season is this coming week to tahoe, but it has snowed 4 ft, and is supposed to snow another 6+ ft by Sunday! We fly in on Monday, and as of now most of the roads up are closed, and if this keeps up even if we do make it I will have to ski instead of skiboard due to the insane amount of snow they are getting.. Skiboards can only float so much.

So, someone religious please pray for it to stop soon so I can try out my new Fusions next week:)

OMG... 96" in the past 48 hours now.. Not supposed to slow down until Sunday. Man, I hope the holiday crowd this weekend can knock some of it down!

i've skiboarded multiple feet in tahoe, just go to the very top where it's really, really steep, sit back and enjoy the float.

I wish some of that were in Maryland but i think there would need to be a major drop in temperature before that, its 70 degrees here. Instead of winter we are havin a tropical heat wave. :eek:

It ain't all it's cracked up to be. We got totally snowed in week before last when 18 inches fell while were on the mountain. They closed on major highway because of "blizzard" conditions and the other one was closed because of an avalanche. Had to spend the night in Reno and drive back the next day.

Powder was sooo deep if you strayed more than a foot from the packed trails you would drop in upto your waist.

Gonna head up again this weekend for 4 days, weather looks to be clear and mid 50's. Groomer's report is showing 49 freshly groomed runs, so it should be fast and fun with plenty of powpow 'tween the trees for building kickers :)
