Okay guys, this is my suggestion if you want to be ready for riding hard and going big, or even not. The book is called Fit to Ski and Snowboard by Rocky Snyder. This book has a ton of great stretches and strengthening exercises to keep you in peak physical condition for riding. I just picked this bad boy up at Borders today and have only done a small bit of reading in it but it looks great and I believe that it explains why each stretch is useful to the sport. There are pics of each part of the stretch so you can see if you are doing it the right way. In my riding experience I have noticed that when I stretch I ride much smoother and hurt myself much less than when I don't so I would tell you to go out and buy it or borrow it from a library if that's your thing but I prefer to buy so I always have it for reference if I ever need it again.
