So the only thing I knew about skiboarding before this site...(actually I only knew about snowblading) was the Salomon minimaxes for 4 seasons and never really wondered about new boards. Well, my KTPs arrived today and my jaw dropped as I pulled these things out. They're massive. I suddenly became intimidated and started questioning my capability to ride them. But 5 minutes later, I grew anxious and ready to shred on these bad boys. Anyway, I go up tomorrow morning and just wanted to show you the difference in width. It's gonna be a very interesting day tomorrow.

Hopefully you have some leashes for those bad boys. :P

Damn those things look good... I would love to mount a pair of 09 or 08 KTPs with my FF pros.

thanks Gorno. setup felt pretty good. It was kinda tough to lock the bindings down. Is there a point where it's too tight or just as long as you can manage to lock in?

Well for me I prefer to my bindings tighter rather than looser, so if the toe lever is kinda hard to get down... then so be it. I am assuming you won't cause any damage to anything by having them tighter, and the last thing I want is a loose board.

This has never happened to me but I do remember reading on here that you can have them overly tight. If it's too tight it'll almost prime them to unlock so they'll pop off if you come down hard. So there is a point where they could be too tight, just make sure it's not too easy to unlock them and you should be fine.
