HELP!!!
I'm kinda new to this and need a little help finding the right skiboards for me!
I've looked at so many different ones online and I'm not sure which ones to get. I'd much rather look in a store but no ski shops around me sell skiboards! (pity...) I'm not sure what length is good for a girl (not that that matters) that's 5'2" tall. I see some online that look a little to wide for my taste. I want something not too long and not too wide. Any suggestions?
I also want the releasable bindings (or whatever u call them lol) I see most boards don't come with them so I guess Ill have to buy them separately...
Any/all help is appreciated! :D

For being 5'2", I would suggest getting Revel8 Tanshos 90cm or Revel8 BWPs 98cm. If you don't want wide, you can comprimise some width for some extra length and can go with Revel8 Rumspringas (Mary Janes or Rockets)103cm.

The Tansho's are awesome boards! They are stable, fast and controllable. I love mine and I am 5'4", but ride them with non release binding's. The SnowJams are also 90cm, same as the Tansho's and also a great board, I just prefer Revel 8's for their width and blunt tips for plowing through the snow crud.
The BWP at 98cm, however, is my Favorite for sure!!! Super sweet fun easy board to ride; again I ride non release. This is a remarkableboard. I have the '07 graphics though. You can put release bindings on these as well, cost more with releaseable, but if safety is a concern, then by all means it is worth getting the releaseables.
Since you are 5'2 and new this, I'll stick with the Tansho's for you... just a fun easy board to ride as well. But the Mary Janes (Rumspringa's) at 103cm are more similar to the normal long skinny ski, if you are used to skiing at all, this is a very nice comfortable board to ride all day long and with release bindings on these, it'll be a super board for you... many of the ladies on the forum have gotten the Mary Janes and are very pleased with them.
Read up on reviews here and at www.skiboardreview.com
Read over the write ups for each board as well and look at rider requirements for heights for each board you are contemplating.
Also use this fow chart to help guide you to which board is suggested for your height and weight: http://www.skiboardsonline.com/vbull...ead.php?t=7115
Another thread is this one to go over:

then once ya narrowed it down you can post another questionaire for us to help ya again decide! Or just pick the one you prefer the graphics on and go for it! SBOL is good about helping you pick the right board and Greco is theee man to help you with your final decision if ya just can't decide.
have fun with it!
Ley us know what you decide.

Hi and Welcome!
I'd agree with the above and say Tanshos or BWPs. I (5'3"/130lbs) currently ride BWPs which give that bit extra speed & stability over the 90s and IMO are just as manouvreble.
I haven't ridden Rumspringa, you may want releasable bindings on those with the extra length vs your height.

I have two younger sisters who are in the same size range, and they did great on 90cm boards. The Tanshos with the Spruce Pro Junior bindings would be a good option, but also look at the Allz boards.
