Ski Slope Determination

Is there any standard as far as determining a trails difficulty. I don't know if this is true or not. Someone made a statement that one mountains blues may be another mountains green. Is there a link anywhere that tells that information.

I dont know the true answer to that, but I'd have to say that i think one mountains blues may be another's green. It's probably based on the overall difficulty of the mountain. Not saying that's true, but it seems logical to me.

The ratings are unique to every mountain. Just check out a hill before you hit it if you think it may be questionable. Generally, bigger mountains have harder hills at lower ratings.
