tour boots are made of a softer plastic, so while they may fit.....they WILL NOT HOLD UP to the riggers of non releaseable bindings. I also don't think they provide the support where you need for pure alpine riding/park riding.
They only way they would work is if you had boards retrofitted with touring bindings, and were into the telemark kind of thing...but that would have to be drilled into boards.
So basically....now

Back in the 90s people used to use Raichle tour boots with hardboot bindings on snowboards. The bindings are quite similar...
The picture you put up is of Alpine touring boots also called randonee boots , they work fine in skiboard non release bindings , they are plenty stiff for skiboarding , they are a little less stiff then full on alpine race boots but the plastic is just as stiff as most recreational ski boots , also they have a walk mode that lets you release the cuff and have a nice upright stance which I like
I have a pair of Scarpas just like those in your picture , and use them with FF pro bindings on ALPs and KTPs , perfect set up , very light weight performance.. they have a rockered vibram sole and you can walk around in them as well ..
you cannot use the Alpine touring boots in regular ski release bindings like the spruce riser. however, you need special alpine touring release bindings that accomodate the thicker vibram soles.
Here is a pic of me wearing the Scarpa Alpine touring boots

Here are a pic of my boots , I amputated the rear spoiler to make them shorter and modified a lightweight liner to make them lighter and more easy to hike in the summer

Hahaha...very funny. Reminds me of the first tele mount Jack put on the Spruce 120. I thought the oak block he used might fall apart on him. It held though.
Jack, do those Salomon soft alpine boots work better than your touring boots with skiboards. How does walking compare?

Jjue,
thanks for the pictures. That's just what I thought. Light-weight and easy walking. You say you use your Scarpas on FF Pros?

Hi Wendell , I would say those Salomon verse soft boots are quite similar in performance to my touring boots , walking is easier in the touring boots because they have a rockered vibram sole rather than the Salmon verse which of course has a regular ski sole ... however , when I leave the Salomon loosely buckled and use a cat track sole on the Salomon they are actually very comfortable walking about and the only real difference is that the Scarpas are lighter and have that nice rockered sole that makes hiking and walking more natural .. I do use the Salomon primarily at the ski resort now , because I like to use the Spruce riser pro primes with my Sherpas and can't use the spruce release system with my Scarpas .. I also of course use the FF pro KTp's with the Salomons so I don't have to switch boots. I usually bring the KTP and the Sherpa to ski resort trips now . I save my Scarpa's for backcountry use now ...

I just picked up a pair of Garmont Summits. And they are just amazing!

I had been looking for a light-weight and flexible boot for such a long time and thought I would not be able to find something, that lives up to my expectations.
But let me tell you: I 've found my boots! These boots are all I ever wanted. Very light, comfortable and veeeeeery flexible. Just perfect!!! Forget about Full Tilts and Salomons Kaos and Kreation. I tried them on, but they are heavier and a whole lot stiffer.
The Summits even offer a very comfortable walking mode and an easy entry. I couldn't have found better boots.
But...
I am not content with the fit in my Groove bindings. The boots feel a bit loose, though locked properly. The Salomon boots fitted a bit better, but were also a bit loose.
My question is: Is that a problem of the bindings? Which ones would be better for the vibram soles?
Is there anyone willing to sell FF Pros? :)
They seem to work quite well with jjue's touring boots...
Brutus , I have no problems with my Scarpa touring boots working with Snow jam Extreme 2's or Line FF pros , which are the two non release bindings I have ... if you can't fine Lines and want a lower cost option , I think the Snowjams would work with your boots... I really don't know anything about the grooves and why they wouldn't work well .........
