Hola, Been reading the forum for a while now and have seen mentioned frequently the Orange and Blue FF pros. I have Red FF Pros on my MNPs and was beginning to wonder if I was the only one. Well I no longer have to wonder because I see someone has some Red FF pros on ebay right now if anyone is interested.

Strange that the pictures posted do clearly say FF Pro on them.

oh i didn't even look at that, the image i posted says ff cam. i'm trying to recall if line stopped making the ff pro in the last year(s) and tried calling the ff cam the ff pro to make it sound better?
The ebay bindings are sure enough FFcams, but they definitely say "FFpro" on them. Greco must be correct that they called them FFpros at one time, misleading as that may be.

Yeah, it's interesting to say the least. Still a damn good price for some cams.

They look like they have a different adjustment mechanism than the Cams that I have seen before as well.

yep that's the difference they have an actual screw to adjust them rather than the crappy lever

Ska, you and Kirk are observant guys, I never noticed that but you're exactly right. Looks like it might be a sort of ball-and-socket/setscrew type adjustment. Probably not a bad set-up, they wouldn't be 100% toolless but wouldn't rattle like the regular cams do.

Those bindings are FFPros. They came after the orange or blue models, and have a 5mm bale wire instead of the earlier 6mm. The adjustment is a little coarse, allowing increments of 4mm, while the earlier model allowed increments of 2mm. The FFCam was manufactured at the same time, and has a quick release lever adjustment instead of the set-screw. I have both pairs. They are OK, but nothing special. The earlier Catek made ones are stiffer.

Yeah, I have a set of those myself. The sole blocks, bales, toe clip, and base plate are all of the same baisc design, but the holding design is definitely unique. Each sole block is held in place by a set screw that has been tapered at the end to fit into a row of countersinks. It's held in place by a nut on the underside of the block. I haven't used them myself, but they seem pretty sturdy.
