View Full Version : Buying Old Lines cheap

Does anyone have any idea where I could purchase any 2000-2003 Line Skiboards.

I remember a few years ago I could have purchased Bullets, Weapons, and Mike Nicks at a ridiculously low price on some Hockey Equipment website, But, I was cruising with my Bullets and didn't see a need for another pair.

Now I have my Brother living close to me and my wife wants to learn, and I honestly feel the technological advances in the boards themselves are negligible in the last 5 years, BUT the bindings have made huge advances.

I loved my FF Aluminum bindings, but I would rather spend whatever 2005 $dough I have this year on the Reactor 10 Line Release bindings. I don't want my wife to tear or brake anything and I'm getting older now :-)) and I feel blessed to have not torn or broken anything with lock in bindings the last 6 years.

Thanks for reading. I hope someone has some great little sites up their sleeve.

Well I just learned that I can't put the new Reactor Bindings on Old Lines without Metal inserts put in.

So I guess I will put the Spruce/Salomons on instead. That is of course if someone can find me a deal

:-)))

thanks again.

Go on to ebay...type skiboards.....they have brand new mike nick pro's,bullets,fly's,etc....all with the line pro bindings....these are still on of the sickest bindings in my opinion.Got some on my five-o's.Big fat bales on them. If you like to carve a shit load then get the bullets. Better grab them up while you still can.

One Thing.....please help.

I love to carve.. the Line Bullets with FF Pro have served me well.

I like to take the occasional jump also.

My next pair, do I:

A) Buy a pair of 98cm Mike Nick pros on ebay for $200 (It was the decision I made in 2001 and I went with the Bullets then.)

B) Buy a Pair of Mix 110cm (releasable spruce)

C) Buy a pair of Mix 99.5cm (releasable)

D) Mix 99.5 (No release)

or D) Just stick with my Bullets (95cm), wax them up good and shut up.

I would like some advice, as I want to be the best carver and occasional jumper I can be. That's what I like best, and I don't see that changing.
Thanks for your help.
