Looking for a recommendations for skiboards for my wife and myself. Both brand new to the sport.

Height 5'7, 155 lb.
Advanced skier (20+ years), moguls, blacks, and general cruising with the family (want stability with a little speed so I can keep up with snowboarding friends).

Want to use skiboards for some moguls (tight line), long carving on the blues, probably not doing much in the parks, but would hit some smaller jumps.

Considering Fischer XXL, Canon Heritage (would the M7's be too long for what I want to use them for?), SnowJam 90cm.

I have a pair of bindings for an old pair of skis lying around (Salomon 900S), will these fit on the skiboards I buy?

WIFE:
5'2, 110 lb.
Intermediate skier, Intermediate inline skater. Wants more of a skating feel. Wants effortless turning and stability.
Considering SnowJam 75cm.

Thanks for any advice. Let me know if I need to provide any other info.

jellyjack,

the snowjam75 are exactly what your wife should get and i'm sure you'd be very happy with the heritage 90's. since you mentioned you like tight lines through moguls i would say don't go to 99's since the 90's will allow you to do all you mentioned plus will be better for moguls. both these boards use the standard 4cm x 4cm insert pattern. your ski bindings will not work unless you have someone drill them into the boards, which isn't recommended. look into the spruce riser/bindings if you want releasable bindings otherwise the stock snowjam and canon bindings will work great.

let me know if you have anymore questions,
