I just got a new pair of skates for helping my mother do some odd jobs. new razor genesys 7.1 and extra pair of NIGHT soul Plates.

Me and Kirk and probably Mark will be skating a lot this summer, so if anyone wants to meet up and skate for a weekend I always have a few extra beds.

I got a pair of Brian Campbell Signatures back in 2007, black on white ones... Sweet skates, but not long after getting them I tore my co-interior ligament in my knee and just didn't skate again after.

I wanna get back into it, but noone to skate with. :(

Those pics do not do justice to just how ill this facility is. There's a slope with boxes and rails for indoor skiing, as well as a massive skate park. Just look up 'woodward' on vimeo and you'll see tons of edits from the skate section and a couple from the new ski area.

Looking around their site (woodwardatcopper.com) it seems that they have summer camps all summer for about $1500. Couldn't find anything indicating you could just stop by for a session in the summer. In the winter you can either do a 'winter camp day' which is the morning on the tramp, jump, ect. with a coach, and then in the afternoon you go out on the slopes to try out the stuff you learned. That's like $200.
There's also drop-in sessions in the winter, which sound like what we want. For those you need to take the 'one hit wonder' course, which is 90 min. of introduction to the features for $70. After you've taken that you can do 'drop-in sessions' in which you're good to go on whatever you want for 1 hr 45 min. $25.

I have a hard time jumping up onto rails like that but I can do bike racks no problem...I just don't like the little support legs on the sides. Oh and I did some scoping for the fall yesterday up at The University of Akron, lets just say I will have way too many hand rails.

Oh and the skates look great.

Post some pics of the suspension frames when you get them, I may be looking into getting some.

Started out when i was 11-12ish.... up until high school. I'm 23 now and have experience a "renissance" for both skating and skiboarding so yeah. Picked up almost-new Razors with pads, helmet and bag on craigslist for $50! Can't wait till its warm again...
