from ns.com
But in the end, The Land of the Rising Sun ruled Whistler tonight, as the extremely kind, wonderful and talented Shinji Osada of Japan picked up his first big win in the Western Hemisphere by stomping virtually all of his tricks all night long, which he capped off with a big ol’ switch 1440. Osada's win was an emotional one, as tears of joy began streaming down his face after he was announced as the victor.

Sorry, I should have added English.
In the topic header it states "Thanks for all your hard work."
I wrote:
Congratulations.
Thanks for all your hard work and gentle nature
Sorry for the small prize money
(Both the 2nd and 3rd lines are common Japanese ways of expressing thanks. Maybe a little strange to say by American standards but considered polite in Japanese society.)
I did not write his name in kanji because I have no idea what kanji he uses. Kanji is not phonetic rather concept or idea relating by nature so much like US names can be spelled differently one can use different kanji.

Where can I see footage. Youtube has (nearly) nothing. If he's this good I'd expect he has at least some publicity?

no its not man, the kid is throwing down steezy sw 1440s and sw 1600s like noone else's business. He was named best jump/jibber at a competition he was in and I think he throws down harder than twall/thall/simon/candide/jon
Man im not talkin style here, but im talking on pure ability and I think he has it. Look at Shu spin with such style and ease......man japanese riders throw down way harder than us guys over here in the usa, just watch some trailers
BACKFLIP upsidedown plant on tree brand....say WHAT, we can't even think of some of the things they are doing....their urban sections are so sick
haha, for sure ty. i saw that trailer with the backflip tree jib. so sick.
henrik is crazy for sure. sw 16 blows my mind. though nine knights didn't have any of the big names like thall or candide. can't wait for more footage from that.

and i mean...thall never competes in slopestyle, and i dont think his style is that great anyways. Candide throws down...i really like watching Charles Gagnon, he throws down innovated shit....his new rodeo 5 is SICKKKK.
On rails i mean...it def hasta be andy parry/will wesson throwin down so hard right now as well. And i love watching TWALL as much as every other NS.com member on the planet...ive been thinkin henrik is much better lately. I mean he threw down in joss
andy parry is amazing, but not really even comparable to anybody else. it's just...different. i was watching some vids from some other kid on NS the other day too, who was throwing down some really creative and super smooth 'roller blade' grinds where he dropped onto one knee. super sick.
edit: here (http://www.vimeo.com/3155375).
henrik's rail parts in joss were crazy, better than twalls i'd agree, though he had some sick stuff too.

yea ive been watching asian allen's stuff for the last 2 years...and its really come a huge way from what its been. I'm very intrigued by that....along with his V CUT SPKs that allow him to get into positions like that.
