I thought it might be bogus because it's so ridiculous but it's on Reuters (http://www.reuters.com/article/pressRelease/idUS219754+31-Mar-2009+PRN20090331) and North Denver News (http://northdenvernews.com/content/view/2026/2/)

Vail... This guy already has enough money. I need to find out where he lives, and make sure he has another "accident" because this is bullshit.

turns out he was hurt (he claims)
David Pfahler claims the boy was skiing recklessly when they ran into each other at Beaver Creek last winter.
Pfahler says he ended up with a torn tendon in his shoulder.
He's suing for $75,000 for physical therapy and other expenses.

i made a post on the youtube video page and got this reply to my inbox:
KurbyDurby has sent you a message:
7 y o boy gets sued
Hey,
You don't know me but...
Either way if this video is true or false, the matter is that this video is being used as a tool. What I do know about this video is that it is being used to convince the mass public to push an adjustment in our laws to limit who we "the general public" can sue. A law that puts limits on our right to sue?
This adjustment in the law would not hurt the people who can afford to sue, only the poor bastards.
What are your thoughts?
Thanks,
KD

nobody without any knowlege of law should be able to sue...simple as that. And then we should take it a step futher to the point that you have to have a degree to even have the case looked at by a judge. I am so tired of all of these frivilous lawsuites and all these fake tv lawyers...Specifically Judge Judy...
