New Coat Thread

Hey guys, I know we did this type of thing in a thread a while back but I am on a computer other than my own and don't want to be on for too long. I am looking for a hard shell jacket with tons of pockets...I mean TONS of pockets. One of the most important things I am looking for is an mp3 player pocket the other huge thing is wrist gaiters. Before anyone starts making offers, I want to buy new, nothing against anyone or their gear but I don't really want to guess on sizes.

So here is what I think I want in jacket:

Removable midlayer
Detachable hood
mp3 player pocket
Wrist gaiters
Powder Skirt
Minimum of 3 outside pockets
Vents
Simple Design nothing too out-there in the graphics department (single or few colors may best)
ID Pocket


Toss up some ideas and some pics...I would love to see last season stuff because I am in Idaho and am going to be hitting up some ski shops for some off season deals.

I bought a Rossignol Tribe jacket near the end of season and it has all the features you are talking about except for the removable midlayer (which I HATE in a jacket anyways because it always moves around)

It has all taped zipper seams, tons of deep exterior pockets, two places for your mp3 player (left or right + places to run your cords for your headset) The hand gaiters are built in and dont get in the way when you dont need them. I used it twice before the season was done and it is definately the best jacket I have ever had..

I looked at about 10-15 jackets before I picked this one.

I bought Mark's Colombia ___ jacket (it's a winter sports line that they have, can't remember the name)
Has pretty much everything you want, except a removable midlayer.
I'm not sure about the wrist gaiters, it has exterior velcro straps at the wrists (if those are wrist gaiters, then it has them.
It's an 08 model, so you'd have a hard time finding it new.
I'm definitely not selling.

I picked up an Oakley Airlift Jacket in Nickle Arch Plaid for $137 new today...I could have gotten the matching pants for an additional 100 but I don't need them. Post pics when I get back home.
