Hey all
Yesterday, a party was held in Gjøvik, Norway, celebrating the launch of Loken Industries’ new website. Only problem was that on the very day the new site was slated for launch, the server was hacked, and the issue has still not been resolved.
So, in the meanwhile, Ola Løken Kalsnes, the man behind it all, has decided to release this poster (http://blink.dagbladet.no/community/files/s/sb/sbol/Showoff.jpg), showing some of the potential designs for next season. More designs are forthcoming, and as soon as they are all available, we, the riders will be able to vote on which designs we want to see printed on the Loken skiboards next year. Loken are aiming at making four skiboard models next year, three of which we can vote on.
Allso, I would like to explain my relationship with Loken Industries this last month, as to avoid people thinking there's any monkey-business involved :)
I first found out about Loken from a website stating that Loken was "developing the next generation of skiboards". A month back, I sent a mail to its founder, Ola Løken Kalsnes and asked what Loken was all about. We talked, and I asked him if it was ok if I made a thread about Loken on skiboards.com and sbol, which was no problem to him. The result was that within a couple days, various people had contacted him with regards to buying the remainder of his stock of skiboards. Loken hadnt been moving much the last years, but now suddently things where happening fast. Løken Kalsnes was very content with this, and decided to make an "El Bajong Freeride" model as to "return the favor".
