View Full Version : Weapons... Should I?

So I was wandering around my local ski shop on the way home from work today and I stumbled upon a pair of used Weapons w/ FF Pro bindings for $125. They are seriously used, the edges around the top are all chipped and there are a few divots in the grind cut, but the bases and edges look OK otherwise. So, should I? Am I looking at them falling apart a little down the line or are they solid enough that they can take a couple years more beating?

Just to have the ff pro(NOT the cam right?) bindings might be worth it cause they are seriously sick bindings but the boards sound like they are on their last legs.

Bought 'em this morning for $100. The shop had even tuned them since I last looked at them. Can't wait to start learning rails...

Here's a quick pic of what my $100 got me... Think I got my money's worth? Took 'em out after work today for a few runs. I think I'm going to like them, but I have a feeling that throwing myself at the rails probably isn't the recommended way of learning. Ouch. Maybe I can talk someone into giving me some pointers at Mtn Creek this weekend...
great snag for 100, definately worth it by the looks of them

How the heck can the bottoms look so good, compared to the tops that look like someone threw rocks at it for a few days?
I wonder how they worked out for him.
