Hey! I've been skiboarding for about 8 years now...well I guess I should say "snowblading" considering I've been using crappy Solomon blades. This year, I'm finally making the plunge and I want to get wicked legit boards. I'm about 5'3" 115 pounds, which ones should I be looking at? I've played hockey my entire life, so I'm thinking the shorter the better, but I dont want to compromise versatility aka from ice to powder and everything in between. Any suggestions? Thanks!!

You want small and versitile, you need to pick up some KTPs. And from your height and weight you could probably get away with either releasable or non releasale bindings. If you get releasable since you are so light, you could get the Spruce Pro Jr risers, I ride them and love them.
Welcome to the forum miniHerter.
If you have not done so already, check out this thread for some info that can help you narrow down your options while respecting the SBOL recommendations for minimum heights and non-release bindings if you decide to go that route:

no disrespect GOM, but if your switcing from blades I dont think that going straight to ktps wouldn't be a good idea...too wide. i would personaly recommend the rumpsringa for the iceskate feel, or if your gana be doin everything the BWPs or any of the revolt series

Man, why does everyone think that they will offend me with not agreeing with my opinion. It's your opinion vs my mine, and quite frankly, you're more experienced with this than I am at all this.

I've played hockey all my life and skied for 25 of those years -- KTP's are fine for me... just took a few runs to get use to the width, but man these things can turn and whip up the snow behind you....

I recommend you try the BWPs. They are very maneuverable. I prefer them over the KTPs.

I prefer the stiffness of the KTPs, but I'm a bigger guy and need stiffer boards. I have to agree that the BWPs would be good for you.

BWP's based on your height and weight, they are a great board with lots of flex and great in the parks and jumps as well as groomers and bumps. Not so much for powder, but how often do you ski powder? If you you do ski powder then yes the KTP's, but a heavier person is better suited for that board.
Otherwise the good ole' Revolts with lots of graphic choices are a wonderful all mountain board and be fine for your height n weight with probably release bindings rather than non release.
For pure fun fun fun for you... the Tansho's!
but my first choice for ya is the BWP's with Bombers.
have fun and let us know what you get!

KTP's feel like big feet under this 6'2" Clydesdale. I think I have an ass cheek that weighs 115 lbs.

I think you would like the revolts the most, even you being a bit smaller.
