The Italian government has passed a law today obliging all snowpark users to wear a helmet!

Please purchase/borrow one before coming because word is fines are pretty heavy (up to 200 euros) if you're caught without one.

We're in Italy... where sometimes laws are nothing but an option, nevertheless you've been warned...

hey Marco, are there good shops in Marilleva or MDC, where to buy cheap stuff, like helmets and so on...? or tehre are, but not cheap, or there are not?

Sure there's plenty of shops but most won't have nice stylish helmets like the ones we want ;)

It would be better if you get one before coming, cause you might not find what you want here, and you would only have a few hours to look for one before shops close the day you arrive.

Tommy, technically a skating helmet wouldn't be enough. In case of any control the helmet must be "approoved" by the Italian skiing federation (FSI) or by any other Internationally recognised institution.

I really doubt they would check on you if you're wearing a skate helmet, in theory my Giro helmet isn't approved either because i removed the little FSI sticker which states the helmet is built to suit the law.

allz! You got there before me! The first 3 pics are from this year, and it only shows the bottom part. It will most likely be enlarged with other structures. The top section (behind the building on top) is much bigger and contains many more rails, boxes, jumps and a wallride.
