skiboard graphics

Because everyone I ride with is on Revel8s, I never put into perspective how superior their board graphics are compared to the competition. I was on skiboardmagazine.com, and while I scrolled down the homepage, I saw the new graphics for Summit, Strictly, and Matrix. Then I scrolled a little further, and like a smack in the face, Revel8s new graphics where there. Personal tastes aside, the quality of Revel8s graphics seem to be a solid tier above the competition.

I never really thought about what a significant role graphics can play until seeing all of these boards together. Everyone should check this out on skiboardmagazine.com. I'd be interested to hear others' opinions.

I'd definitely agree that Revel8's graphics have much more time and through put into them. Taste may lead some people to not appreciate the Revel8 graphics in the same way that many people are so closed minded about music that they can't recognize talent in the music even if they don't like the style.

Yeah Kirk, I've been watching the graphics coming out for a while now and all I can say is that just graphics wise, nothing else competes. I personally think that these graphics compete with big name ski company's graphics and on most occasions beat them. All the designers put an amazing amount of work and bring even more skill to the table, any one that can put out a graphic for R8 has all of my respect.

Only graphics on skiboards I've seen that come remotely close to R8's were Serge Maheu's SB10's.

Even then, they weren't that good.

As for skis, I think Bluehouse and Liberty have the nicest artwork, very clean.

I agree with you Kirk.
I've been skiing for more than 10 years and when i was looking for a shorter ski (because i wanted to try a different thing), luckily I found skiboardonline.com. I've seen many different short skies including skiboards... and i gotta say, the main reason i chose R8 was the graphics.
back then i didn't know anything about how the width and the all the tech they have in R8 would make much difference (even though I bugged Greco for a while asking tons of questions =P)

R8 graphics are awesome.

I just wish they come in more variety of colors.

my jacket and boots are blue so i was hoping to get a blue skiboards~
