i'd like to hear what people's opinions are on making skiboard models in various lengths. for example, revolts in lets say 95, 105 and 115. Condors in 100, 110 and 120.

i know financial speaking this is probably impossible for our small companies, but skiing/snwbrd companies have been doing this since the start, just wondering what people think.

That's a really interesting concept and something I hadn't thought about in skiboarding.

Do you think each skiboard is different enough in specs to make having different sizes of each model realistic?

Tansho - 13.5/10.5/13.5
Revolt - 14.5/11/14.5
Condor - 16.5/13.7/16.5

As far as the 95cm Revolt - I don't think it'd be too much different than the Tansho (although I haven't ridden Revolts, this is just looking at specs).

The different lengths of the Condor may be a lot different though.

I think we have it already pretty much covered .. correct me if I am wrong , but Tansho, BWP , Revolt , ALP have similar flex and side cut , but in different lengths , so I think that is our basic 110 and below length variation .. I think the flex and side cut dimensions are pretty well dialed in and allow folks to choose their length across the spectrum .
The Ktp and Condor , I see as speciality one of a kind boards .. I actually think they are about perfect at the lengths and dimensions they are and may not work as well at different lengths .
I think the KTP works well as a stiff board at its length and the Condor works well as a flexy board at its length .
I also think the Rumspringa boards are a speciality narrow board and the 103 length is probably fine without need for additional lengths.

Once we get into the longboard range .. I think there is some room for some additional models .. maybe a 115 and a 125 from Spruce , perhaps a 125 a bit more manueverable sherpa for those who don't need maximum float .. and the 115 a bit more manuverable 120 , closer to the 110 and below boards for those who don't need the extra float of the 120 but want a bit more stability then a 110 ..

I agree with Jack.

There seems to be a huge gap in performance between the Spruce 120/ALP and the Spruce Sherpa. Something to go in between would be perfect for lighter guys that want a board that can take anything on the mountain. :D

I would like to see something the width of the condor in a package the length of the sherpa and maybe the length of the KTPs...that is my only suggestion, all of the other boards are pretty much just scaled anyway...are they not?

A condor width KTP length board would look crazy.

If the Condors shrink....are they truly Condors.
