Fixing a gouge

Yesterday I was cruising down a double black tree trail and suddenly heard that sound that we all dread, the sound of ur board grinding against a rock that you couldn't see cause it was under knee-deep powder.. So anyone know a good easy way to fix a gouged board, or is the best thing to do just take it into a shop and have them take care of it?

And what about taking off the burrs around it? just pull it off and hope nothing more than what should does, or file it down or what?

buy some ptex melt it and drip it in to the cut the scrape it and your good as new
