A Review Of Creek

Since I am the first back I will let you all know how the weekend went. All in all it was a blast. There was some great footage shot which I am sure Greco will post later on when he gets home. Mostly everyone arrived sometime on Friday. I arrived as reinforcement on Saturday morning. Once we got our lift tickets we hit the slopes, with a great combination of riding skill, personality, and age.

Hitting the south side of the mountain, we found a rail in a secluded area that we shot at for a good amount of time. It was a period of time for everyone to see eachothers style and to try something new. Adam did a 270 on 270 off, Henry got one disaster, and toward the end of the time the guys did a train of homo grabs down the rail. The guys all got frustrated on trying to stick an S-rail toward the end of the day, Kirk and Adam came quite close to getting it but not all the way.

When it came to jumping Ethan and Dave(Lynman) were quite close for style. Ethan pulled a 1080, a 960 and this weird wall trick that he looks like a cat doing a back flip, Lynman got a back flip again and started working on a rodeo(he almost had it his first try but lost the landing). Kirk also add a bit of his own style.

I also have to give it up for Tony(a semi newbie). He tried almost anything in his path and got the majority of what he tried.

Then when we were all done ridin for the day we had pizza and cookies and watched footage from the day and then also dwarf.

Some opted to ride today(sunday) while others started heading home.

Yet another excellent trip for the riders of SBOL.

sick sounds like a wicked weekend wish i could have been there, ive been watching the sgames, charles gagnier came out 1st in slopestyle, tanner hall coming second, umm cant remember who came 3rd, but it was really close.! Im so jealous of you lot but only 2 weeks till italy, rip it up ma homies!

I'm still hoping a few of you guys will make it to my place before the season ends so we can hit Quebec city's parks.

oh and my skiboards are coming this week AND
last nite I went to get myself 2 awesome rails =P
I'll try to build myself a setup to ride at home but they will
mostly be used for inline.

oh and I found a pratice rail with a kicker some snowboard kids made near my house. its like 30 feet long! I'll go kill it when I get my boards.

OK. Here are my highlights, as best I can remember, prior to the head injury.

Four very hot chocolates.

Watching Kirk get swept of his feet by a young blond skiier at the top of one of the parks.

Shot some video (that was actually a lot of fun).

Got the nerve to try a box (I'll need a little more practice practice).

My face plant which led to an altered mental status for the remainder of the night.

My car on fire (it was a very small fire).

"Snap?" WTF, I'm such a dork!

A roomie in the same clothes, day and night for three days. BTW you snore, dude.

and...

Having known no one before this trip, I met a bunch of amazing people and had an awsome time. Well worth the trip. Thanks for the memories, all of 'em.

Sunday was kicking so much ass.... too bad we had to leave so early. I was doing so much better... and dave landed his underflip. Bailey also got the rollercoaster like 2nd hit, and ethan was throwing some huge fakie bio 9 type thing. The weather was also beautiful. I wish we coulda stayed longer on sunday.... it woulda been sick.
