We don't get powder at my local slopes so my opportunity to practice doesn't seem like it's going to happen.

I plan on attending the midwest meet this year and I'm sorta worried about my board length. I currently ride 105s and I'm wondering how much an extra 5 cm helps on the 110s. I'm really trying to avoid goin longer however I'm worried my boards will be inadequate or leave me working harder than the rest causing me to tire quicker than everyone else.

Any advice would be appreciated.

The Alp has only a small amount of extra surface area then the Revolt and I doubt you will notice all that much difference and you should be fine . The main thing you might notice is that the extra 5cm gives you a bit more stability front and back in variable choppy snow . I say ride your Revolt and not to worry ..

I agree with Jack. There is SOME difference in float, but the main difference in ride quality, which is more relaxed and less tiring on the 110.
