that sucks... there usually is a bus that goes to okemo close by but its not running there this weekend. plus my parents wouldn't let me because i went somewhere last weekend too. Okemo's pretty sick, i think much better than stratton or mount snow.

It's actually like 2 hours form Burly. Longer if you have a truck in front of you.

if you can't make the trip, and still want to ride... you got 4 good resorts within an hr. jay peak for powder, sugarbush for parks, mad river glen for back country and classic stowe.

And let's not forget Bolton Valley for savings.

I haven't been there in years, but I remember them having too few lifts that were also slow. If you will be in Milton, the closest would probably be Bolton, Smuggs, or Jay.

Hey Kelli - My .02 - You're right near Smuggs, go there before Bolton. But if you're really serious, you gotta go to Jay. It's about an hour and a half though so it's a bit of a drive. It actually doesn't matter where you go this weekend because we're getting dumped on the next few days! FINALLY!

Yeah, this winters been real wacky. 50 degrees and raining one week and then back to a seasonal -40 the following week. Season feels short this year.
On a different note but the same state- How does a demo up at Jay sound? They're having some rail comps and I was thinking if a bunch of y'all come up for one and we get some demo boards for people to try it could be a good promotional event. I was also thinking those who don't want to compete could ride the lift with folks who rent the demos and give them a run down on the sport. I know who I have to talk to to get it going, but I'm curious if there's interest or not. I know March 6th is one of them. Is this something I/we should pursue? Should I just start a new thread?
