Ok kids. If you don't even know what this is, it looks like this :

<embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/A41Q87DKtOw&hl=en_US&fs=1&color1=0x234900&color2=0x4e9e00" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="540" height="385"></embed>

you are traveling forward yet spinning like a cartwheel. Or as if there is a pole going through your core and you are being spun on it like a chicken rotisserie. Ok bad example.

Approach the jump fast and with confidence. You don't get much "pop" setting this rotation so you MUST go faster then you usually do. If you pussy out and speed-check you WILL get messed up (this is true with most tricks)

This is not hard but it is absurdly scary the first time. stay low coming into the jump and as you're feeling the lip put your head upside-down by your feet and do a hard "side crunch" with your stomach. If you're a fat slob this isn't go to go over very well, so get in shape first.

You will float completely upside down and it will feel as though you are not going to continue rotating.

STAY TUCKED and you will rotate as your feet come back under you. Don't worry about a grab at the beggining.

No one does these so the entire chairlift will flip their lids even if you don't grab. Gapers LOVE these. And as we all know I LOVE GAPERS.

Get it on video if you're going to attempt it. Then post. I expect videos from 4 specific people within 3 weeks. You know who you are.

it's not that scary. that jump was a "30 footer" but more like a 25

here's a photo of the actual jump I took from the chair.

it's best to learn on a smaller jump because on a bigger one you'll tend to over-rotate. In this case under-rotating is alot better then over-rotating.

now stop being a wuss get out there and do it ! I can't have all of you doing straight air tail-grabs forever.

Whats better for a lincoln loop a straight kciker or a jump with a lip? I'm assuming a straight kicker but...

Let me get a little more consistent on my misty flips before I go for this one. Maybe by the end of the season.

Basically the same for me. I need to spend more time on the diving board, or actually hit up a gymnastics gym.

makes no difference. You just have to intimately understand your trajectory

Who should try backs? Let me try and land mistys first and not break boards. Art has the misty to board break market already cornered. I should've tried to lincoln yesterday.

I'm pretty sure a fakie lincoln loop is the absolutely scariest trick I can think of... blind the entire time and you have to go upside down...

i totaly agree. its almost pure luck.... but might be worth a try.

Quick search of NS shows no results. If you try/land it Dave, make sure there is some good video. I'd love to see some jaws drop over there.

If you try it tomorrow, I'll follow you with my helmet cam. I would love to see the look on your face in slow motion at the last moments before you hit that jump. Knowing you, a little Michael Jordan style tongue hanging out followed by a landing on the first try.

I saw a video attempt of one. He ended up doing a cartwheel and landing regular.

Not this one though.

Yep, as far as I know, thats the closest anyone has ever gotten... all of the other attempts are more like fakie fronts / off axis flat 3s.

Soooooo.....

Since this has never been landed... first person to land it gets to claim the name...

there's one in the kombi king of style comp. on ns.

I think if there was a clean switch lincoln on film, everyone would know about it.
