Hello

I have a pair of Elan Vario, and want to change my bindings. For what I need at the moment, the Vario is enough, although i want to buy non releaseable bindings, for example these :

My bindings are exactly like these:

The only solution I can think of, if puting something like a riser underneath, which will be stuck to the ski in the old manner, and the riser will have a 4x4 pattern, onto which i will put the new binding.

Anyone tried it before ?

Paul,

Sure, it's possible to mount a custom interface directly to a ski/skiboard which is threaded for and will accept 4cm x 4cm pattern non-release bindings like the Snowjam Extreme II's in your link.

I guess I don't understand what the benefit would be. The Elans in your link already have functional bindings, it seems like a lot of work for no practical benefit.

Those Snowjam bindings are designed specifically for better quality skiboards with factory-installed 4x4 inserts. A complete setup like that would give you a significant performance upgrade.
