pretty sweet. I wish the BWPs I almost bought hadn't fallen through, would have loved to get a pair of these to ride.

Not with those bindings, what the soul plate is on those is a wing off the binding to the outside of the foot.

Actually, the physics are there for a topsoul, but it would be brutal, if not impossible to get into on anything other than a single barrel rail since it will force the foot that is locked on to be at a 90 degree angle to the rail. On a single barrel rail, you would just have to tweak the knee of the foot that is locked on over the rail. A fall could get nasty, but the mechanics are there for it to work.

Top Souls, Top Acids, Fishbrains, Fishbones, etc... are all possible. You just have to sit into it and be low. Don't limit the possibilities. Anything is possible. You just have to commit to the trick. On top of that, farside souls and such as possible on boxes and flat rails if you approach on one side and hop to the other. What I noticed about the design as well is that the wing is grooved in the middle, allowing for legit royals, backslides, etc... Hopefully at the open a bunch fo people will have the opportunity to demo the Skyskater bindings to see the possibilities first hand. It's also a chance for some true criticism based upon use, and not just a viewing of the bindings.

Yeah, I suppose that is true. I don't think I'll be attempting anything of the sort though.
