Does anyone remember the Invertigo made by Groove? Was that one of the good groove boards, before they started using cheaper materials?

I think it is just found stock. Groove does not make skiboards of any kind anymore.

I know they're not making them anymore. That's why I have a spare set in my closet! It's just odd that a few months ago the site was all about plinko machines and now it's set up like the old site. I have a buddy itching for a pair of BG pro's, I just don't want to see him get hosed if he tries buying them and since nobody mentioned the site having boards again, I figured I'd post this and see what anyone else knew.

Yeah that would suck for sure. I would call them cause the last time I went to that site as well there were no skiboards for sale.
yeah see http://www.grooveusa.com/ No skiboards on this site at all. I think you may have just found an old link or something.

Yeah, I told my friend to call them first. And that link you posted was the their old site URL. Haven't been there for some time so the link I posted looked close enough that I forgot about the real one. They don't even have pictures of the boards up but I hope for my friend’s sake they're legit. I just got him hooked and there's so little available right now.

It's not a good site. Send your money through and see what happens!
No, seriously, I tried calling their phone number and it is now a number for Nortel networks.
E-mails came back as a defunct domain. Weird, usually if you don't pay your domain bill, the website is no longer accesible. Maybe they bought a mulit year contract.

I forgot to ask again, anybody know what the quality of the 2000 groove invertigo is? I think some were suspect.

Wow, I tried to see if you could order one of those, just to see if the process would go through. It takes you all the way into the Paypal system. I didn't press the button to send money, so I don't know if an invalid account would have kicked it out of the final process, but I wouldn't chance it! Someone could potentially get burned by that!!
BEWARE!!!!!!!

Actually, that was true. Canon and Groove boards in 2001 were made (at least some of them,) in the same place. They both had a bad batch. For Canon, it was a butt load of M7's. Several thousand, I think. And for the Grooves, I think it was this Invertigo board. But I don't know for sure. I know on the Canon M7's you could tell which one's were bad somehow. Like there was a yellow flag picture on it, or something like that. I have no idea how to identify the bad Groove boards. Anyhow, each company turned down the shipment because they were snapping in half behind the binding, or something like that, and then the were distributed somewhere else and sold to unwitting consumers. Could this be where Canon got a little bit of a bad rep? If that whole story isn't right, I apologize. I just read it somewhere, and you can't believe everything you read.

part of what you say is true but it's a far cry from "groove made canon boards"
