What are those things called that are just boots with a ski on the bottom of them??
Also, for those of you who do aggressive inline, how do they act on snow compared to a pair of skiboards??

I can't remember the name for the life of me but I know exactly what you're talking about. It was a ski boot with a ski affixed to the bottom. I haven't seen them since 96 or so. They looked just like skates and probably would sink in fresh corduroy if you weighed more than 8 or 9 pounds.

I always wanted to try these things out.
I'd imagine that you'd realy need to be balanced on double blacks and any kind of park shit whatsoever...
they do look like fun though they might be a pain in the ass on anything flat whatsoever

Those look similar to what I was talking about but they looked more like an inline boot and there was more of a tip to the front. Those are a lot more streamlined.

I've seen a few people riding them at our resort.. their feet were shaking like crazy and it looked impossible to stop. Must get a little scary going fast, not being able to slow down, and being completely out of control.. I saw one flip over backward and land on his ass. They look interesting but difficult.

I think that these are exactly the things that were being outlawed at Vail, etc, earlier this year when we heard they were banning skiboards. It wasn't skiboards, it was these things.

or maybe they were banning snowskates, the things that are skateboard decks on top and a single skiboard on the bottom.

yo i saw these things up at mnt creek... it looked like the guy was not having any sort of fun, have any of y'all been to mnt creek gettin off the gondala and you run and slide on the wet asphalt? well that is what it looked like that guy had to run and slide every 20 ft or so. they also got stuck all the time, idk if its just dirty jersey here or the tips aint long enough and they sink but i wouldnt go under 90cm and over 110cm on my feet.....
