Just want to warn everyone about buying anything from skiboard depot. (http://www.skiboarddepot.com)

I bought my Canon M7's there a few years back and the first few times I used them I kept falling on my ass. I finally figured out why at the end of the day. The bindings were off. And not my adjustments but the bindings themselves. The holes were drilled unevenly so my left binding had to be adjust almost to the very rear to make it equal. I bought them as blems, but that is not a blem by any means. I emailed and called, but I never got any answers or responses. After about the fifth email the guy just deleted my emails without even reading them (you can check that on aol). I thought about taking it to the bbb, but too much effort , and since I got them working, I wasn't happy, but I just didn't have the time to deal.

Jeff from spruceski had a similar problem where he never got his product and had the same lack of response from the company. So just a little buyer beware when looking for a deal. The only thing they have at the moment are Empire skiboards and there are better deals to be had elsewhere anyway.

Be careful paddler. They got those M7's because Canon rejected import of them from customs because of multiple manufacturing defects. Customs was stuck with hundreds of skiboards, so they put them up for auction, and skiboarddepot (aka snowboarddepot aka many other things) bought them up. But they aren't structurally stable, so they may break after a hard fall/landing. Just a word of caution.

yeah. I realized that a bit later as well. unfortunately the information on it all wasn't as readily available as it is now. They haven't given me problems yet, so I just keep my fingers crossed until the budget calls for new boards.

this was all years ago. Not worth the effort now, and I don't know anyone that's bought from then since. They haven't had anything worthwhile since those Canon's that I remember. I think I got pretty lucky on the quality issue. The construction seems fine. The holes were drilled in reverse on the board. So if you had the boards back to front they'd be lined up. With the stock bindings it took the one binding to it's limit to line them up properly. With the bomber's on there now there's more adjustability so I'm not concerned. Now if I could only get a free weekend to go, I'd be a happy camper. On call this weekend so next weekend might be my first time this year.

Heh dont complain i havnt been to snow since 2001 !

Good to hear their working out ok now tho thats awesome..

I generally find if you cant have a decent conversation with a store over email and exchange at least 3-4 over a week, their not worth dealing with i tested this method with sbol b4 i bought n it worked a charm :D.
