Does anybody have any thoughts on good skates. I have been looking at the TRS access as well as the ST 90's or 80's ,or even the ST Viny Minton. Any help at all would be greatly apreciated. I have to keep doing something close to skiboarding until winter comes around again.

Canada:

Outaline (http://www.outaline.com)
Gangstore (http://www.gangstore.com)

USA:

Skatepile (http://www.skatepile.com)
Inline Warehouse (http://www.inlinewarehouse.com)

really awesome one that customizes to your needs

Aggressive Mall (http://www.aggressivemall.com)

But yea

Im riding on my ST90's right now all customized
GC2 Frames Freestyle setup (murda block)
2R wheels
Customs Souls
Backslide plates

Salomons in my preference are some of the lightest skates out there
The new Cult3's with the classic style Razors look is pretty light too.

Depends on what you're looking for really

Price range also affects it

a really awesome Soft wide skate are the Remedyz Haffey's but if you're looking for cheaper just get the new Remz

The Remz also come with Cut away cuffs or removable whatever you want in the stiffness of the cuff

but if you're just hucking ish off gaps then get a light skate

Salomons

these are the rob thompsons

really light skate
and this year they came out with the wide body soul
so you're not really sacrificing the width for the weight
it may weigh a lil bit more than the salomon's without the widebody but it's removable

and if you're gonna huck ish too
get some Fiziks frames

these feel like a dream when landing

there are a crap load of more skates out there
but these are the skates that float my boat

hope the sites help a bit

ive got the rollerblade trs access. i havnt gotten to use them alot because of our weird weather (it was snowing this morning now its 50) but i have gotten the chance to use them a little bit i like them alot and theyre pretty comfertable. i got mine for 100$ at sport mart so u cant argue with that. lucky size i guess being that they only had 2 pairs left.

the rob thompsons look pretty sick...I like em....im just looking for something to basically slide rails with and hit my ramps. I wanna keep in practice for next ski season. As far as price goes that is not an issue at all. How much for a set of the thompsons anyway?

I got the fiziks, they're good, but they don't seem as great as everyone talks about them. Anyone use the xjsado frames yet? They look like they could be sick for rails, but i don't know if they'd be decent for park and drops too.
