Give me an f-ing break! These went for $167.50 plus $19 for shipping. MNPs are nicer than Five Os.

These are up to $135 shipped and the auction isn't over yet. I can tell you just by looking at the pics that mine are in much better condition.

what do i know... i've only bought and sold over 20 pairs of skiboards on ebay, I wasn't trying to insult you i was trying to help you.

sometimes the truth hurts.

its all about the bindings....extreme IIs are nothing to write home about. FF aluminums = better and the 5 O's had FF Pros which raise the price alot. The boards themselves are in good even great shape, but not worth it unless they are rockin some bombers or ffpros.

Like he said ....bindings make the boards. That was a nice setup that the other guy was sellng. I bid 150.00 i just wanted the bindings. Plus he had a bag.

Yours were a little better then I thought. Still wont hit the 200 mark.

"give me a f'n break"

hahaha, that's just to priceless...bro when it comes to money, there is NO break..soooo if your really hurt'n for cash (like most of us) then sell them to a universally reasonable price. And do your research before you try to use examples of why yours should be sold as is, ie using ebay as back up, when really its the bindings!

Also, I'll have you know that you will NEVER, EVER get as much on SBOL for used equipment as you will on ebay either.

Mainly because SBOL people know there are better boards out there.

Once upon a time there was a young lad that enjoyed buying things. He needed money for new skiboards. Here is his story:

The man-boy put his Mike Nick Pro skiboards on EBAY. He started them out at 50 dollars. He KNEW for sure he was going to make enough to cut the '08 boards in half.

He became greedy.
He put them on for 10 days.

Ten days go by and the boy has a tear in his eye. A friendly skiboarder came to him and said: "what is wrong my little noobie?"

The skiboarder said "*sniffle* *sniffle* I put my MNP's on ebay with no bindings. I started the bidding at 50 dollars. I came back ten days later....they were sold!"

And the proboarder replied " Well that is good news, but these are not tears of joy?"

The nooboared: "no sir. they sold for 60 dollars."

Both bindings and boards are needed to skiboard. But because we are not talking about brand new skiboards (some like 6 year old ones), then it is going to be the bindings that make the auction. You have a good deal going there....but don't expect over 150.

p.s.
After the auction was over, the winning bidder (60 dollars) messaged me and was willing to pay 100 for my bombers.
hell nO!

I'll give you that bindings "help" make the board. They certainly aren't the determining factor in whether the boards are worthless or not.

So he had a bag...LINE bags are crap.

Say I shipped to the East Coast. It will at least cost me $25. The bindings are new (never used). That's $50. That leaves $125 for the boards. You going to tell me that the board alone aren't worth $125. Hell that's half the cost of BWPs.

I guess we'll leave it up to Ebay.

dont get offended or anything bro....but the majority of us know what were lookin for. 200 dollars was just way to steep to ask without FF Pros or Bombers. Thats it. Ebay is usually the best option to get the most bang for your buck....but if you want to keep the skiboards your selling in the active community then check here first. If you dont get what you want..then ebay it is. Us SBOLers are natural bargain hunters.

Guys, calm down about it. He sold em for as much as he wanted, and I'm sure whoever got them was happy with getting the boards. We don't need threads that are simply to bash somebody for offering to sell something. If you don't like the price, don't buy em and if you're worried about others, suggest that it is probably too much, but don't take to attacking him over it.

Manlenium
12-09-2007, 12:42 AM
We werent attacking........We were just surprised they went for that much or he was asking for that much.

Nothing personal against the guy......Wish the buyer all the best with their introduction to the skiboarding world.
