In theory, they are meant to have a reinforcement plate under the top sheet that will take a binding screw, but there is not enough depth for a full adult screw. Because of this most ski shops won't do the work for you. Summit do direct fix bindings themselves, but use helicoils to secure the screws. At least that's what they used to do. The Bamboos do come with 4X4 inserts, so you can use non release bindings, risers or snowboard bindings.

There are lots of threads here about the pros and cons of all the different options. The basic thing to remember is that skiboards are designed to work best with non release bindings as they are light, give great feel and allow the board to flex properly.
    Just these, nothing else !

Thank you for the quick reply after doing some small research before signing up on this forum I figured that the hardware wouldn't fit a skiboard thank you for confirming.

well i had my first run on the blunt xl's today at hunter mountain.Job well done on this board.Although it wasnt ideal conditions to break this bad boy in,i was wanted to get a few runs on these so bad...now mind you im coming from summet headwall 94's with releasable demo bindings...i love the the width and how stable they are when you start to bomb down a run..they are super fast 2..ran into soft powder on the sides and hard pack in the middle..although i couldnt grab a edge,,( like i knew )..i didnt feel uncomfortable making carves and side stops because of the surface area...deff cant wait to get this board in park city in feb and break it in the right way...i took a few runs on the summets to..they just felt heavy and to narrow and less in controll.now that i tried another brand...thinking of getting rid of the summets and going with the revolts or dlp's for east coast..just need something with allitle more camber to catch a edge...or maybe the sticky's....deffinity have to get used to the receptor bindings, very light but a pain in the ass to get on and off

KTP 2015s and Tecnica Cochise 110

First time on the mountains near Innsbruck Austria, followed all the locals to the red arrow(the fact that they all had airbags on their back should have been a hint). I had in mind a very steep slope, not a very steep, very deep powder... Took me a while to come down, but I did it. Was actually impressed that I managed to get some time over the powder on the KTPs if I'd put my legs to work and keep the nose up.
