Walking a quarter to half a mile to get where the lifts start is a real drag in hard ski boots. Sometimes I wear street shoes then put them in a backpack when I put on boots. But, then the backpack is too full on lifts. Many places don't have lockers or storage spots for shoes.

I'm thinking of using a pair of Crocks which would smash down fairly well in a backpack. Neoprene divers socks would stash nicely, and if you coated the bottom with shoe goo they may last walking in them.

What kind of shoes do you guys use when you have to stash them in a backpack?

    Hey Shorty due,

I have these, but I haven't worn them yet. I have them for hiking if we have to cross wet streams. They had them for sale at a sporting good store in Utah, so I picked them up.

Thanks CAN, those look interesting. I found this video review on them.

If I get them, I would probably be inclined to cut those zippers off.

RVL8 Condors - The Flex will be with me, always...until I break them

Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well-preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming... "WOW! WHAT A RIDE!!"
