Lunch Lady Messiah Skiboard Backpack |

Thank Facebook for the fact that SBOL has these classic backpacks available. It’s were we found Adam Newhard, the owner of the old skiboarding company Lunch Lady Industries. We got to talking and found out he had an old stash of the Messiahs and we jumped all over them. This was the first backpack made by a skiboard only company and it was THE pack back in the day.

I had the opportunity to test out the Messiah pack at the end of this past season when I decided to ride to the slopes with my gear. The pack is deceptively compact, with plenty of room on the inside. I had no trouble fitting my boots in along with my softshell jacket, gloves, two pairs of goggles, and even extra socks. The straps on the outside are simple, but they held my KTP’s with Bombers very securely. I even took the bike up to well over 100mph, and the boards didn’t go anywhere. The shoulder straps are decently comfortable, and the only real negative I noticed is the lack of a chest strap to complement the waist strap. If you’re looking for a simple, well-made pack to haul you gear and boards with, the Lunch Lady pack will serve you well.
