Revel8 2011 Dave Lynam Pro 110cm SkiboardsFor 2011 the ALP has become the DLP, as in Adam has handed down his pro model to his younger brother Dave, who, if you’ve seen the new Shredfest II video, is proving himself to be an amazing skiboarder in his own right. Dave’s go to skiboards have always been the ALP and aside from his name and own graphic he wouldn’t change a thing. For his riding style, big, fast and aggressive, they suit him perfectly, able to handle anything any mountain presents and with the extra length to help him land his doubles and cork 9’s. Artwork by veteran R8 artist Dave Cox, featuring topsheets with clear areas, a first for R8 and something rarely seen in skiboard design. Minimum rider height for best performance with: |

My new DLPs felt just great from the beginning!
Compared to my former snowblades the DLPs are absolutely amazing. I spent the last week in a ski resort in the Bernese Alps and The Spruce risers and Salomon bindings are slightly heavier than what I was used to but so much more stable and comfortable. What I like most is that I’m now able to "fine tune" my carving turns by shifting the weight forth and back – something that was impossible on snowblades because they offer absolutely no flexibility. I was astonished how good the grip of the DLPs was even on ice. And they are fast: chasing snowboarders was such an easy and funny game to play!
The feeling of freedom and weightlessness the DLPs give me is incredible. I enjoyed every minute and took them off only to go to bed!
Thanks once more for your professional advice. As a new customer I must say that SBOL did a great job!
