RVL8 Kirk Thompson Pro 101cm Skiboards

RVL8 is proud to introduce the Kirk Thompson Pro model.  Kirk is the master of rails and park but loves to venture off piste and explore.  After skiboarding for years on other people’s boards Kirk finally got the chance to develop his perfect pair and hit a home run.  RVL8 KTP’s will appeal to intermediate to advanced park and all mountain riders alike, who want wider, solid boards for trees, powder and carving that excel in the park. The KTP is one of the widest skiboards out there and includes a first in skiboarding…an extra set of inserts.  That’s right, in addition to the industry standard 4×4 insert pattern the KTP comes with another set of inserts, set back, allowing you to mount your 4×4 bindings 4cm to the rear for deep powder riding.  Width combined with extra inserts equals truly progressive park and all mountain skiboards for the intermediate to advanced rider.  KTP’s sexy graphics were a result of collaboration between Kirk and RVL8 website designer Martin Azevedo of Cummobranding.

Non release bindings is 5’6” (167.64cm)

5 reviews for RVL8 2008 Kirk Thompson Pro “KTP” 101cm Skiboards

With its tough bases and fat width, these boards are great for all terrain riding. I have a similar-spec’d pair of Loken El Bajongs and these are much more flexible and plow through the powder with ease.

These are some of the greatest and most innovative boards ever to be released. Revel8 and Kirk Thompson did everything right, and these boards excel everywhere on the mountain especially in the park. The added width makes for amazing stability on rails and for landing big airs.

Update to above review: by removing releasable Fisher bindings and installing an old pair of Canon M7 non-release bindings, carving is as good as advertised…and will even stop a sled!

One word to describe this board, Versatile! he go anywhere, do anything board is the KTP. Don’t let the width steer you away, you can spin it, skate, ride it fakie, jump it, carve it and go in powder with it and whatever else you can think of. It’s a stiff board with a soft heart, and the more you ride it then more you enjoy it.

These are not your average skiboards – the build quality is very good and the wide nose and tail really suit most riding conditions from park to all-mountain.
