Description

The RVL8 104cm Sticky Icky Icky skiboards took the skiboarding world by storm in 2016. The rave revues came in all season with a long list of happy customers spanning all age and experience ranges. The Sticky Icky Icky takes its cues from the RVL8 Spliff but is geared more toward riders who unfortunately are facing less powder in their skiboarding adventures. It’s more narrow than the Spliff with a width profile of 13.0/10.6/13.0cm vs. the Spliff’s 15.5/13.0/15.5cm profile. It also has a little less camber and rocker making it ideal for hard pack and variable conditions. The 2mm by 80cm static rocker is just enough to help you plow through any crud or small powder stashes but not enough to cause you to sacrifice hard pack and icy terrain performance. A new design feature never before seen on a pair of skiboards over 101cm is an extra set of inserts designed specifically to allow you to set back your Spruce risers for when you find yourself in the lucky situation of an overnight 3 foot powder dump and need some help keeping your tips up.SII Inserts Explained Thanks goes to Jason Roussel and the Forum for this feature. (Unfortunately, do to liability concerns, the inserts are only designed to allow the releasable Spruce riser system to be set back, the extra inserts are not compatible with non-release bindings. See the 101cm RVL8 KTP or the 100cm BluntXL which have this feature). The new 2019 RVL8 Sticky Icky Icky graphic is by RVL8 designer Martin Azevedo.

Great boards for East Coast riding. They are high performing on groomers while not being slammed and slowed any time you hit a powder pile or slush spot. They just float right over far better than other smaller boards. They have quite a bit of flex which helps with this. While I prefer stiffer boards like the Slapdash for high speed groomers, I usually ride these anyway. They just perform so well in so much variety and turn like a smaller board.
